This heirloom-style tomato pincushion is handmade by me using a mix of vintage fabrics and hand/machine stitching.

Each pincushion and strawberry are one of a kind and will slightly vary.

The tomato is made from a vintage 100% wool check fabric in coral, ivory and olive green tones. The sweet little attached strawberry is made from an Anna Griffin quilting cotton filled with sand to keep your needles sharp.

The strawberry & tomato are topped with yo-yos made from the Anna Griffin fabric and vintage felted wool leaves.

I finished the bottom of the tomato with an antique Mother of Pearl button.

Tomato is sewn from 6 pieces that form the tomato shape and then wrapped in cotton floss to accent the shape

Tied with hand-dyed ribbon
Tomato is approximately 4.25″ diameter & 2″ tall, The strawberry is 2″ x 1.25″
